Reading, writing and saying big numbers is fundamental to being able to add, subtract, multiply and divide larger numbers. Numbers in the hundreds and thousands can get tricky to read or write. However, number literacy is important. If a child can read and write larger numbers, the odds increase the student understands and comprehends place value and operations involving those larger numbers as well. In Reading Big Numbers to the Thousands game, students will practice how to read and translate large numbers from digits to words and from words to digits. After each question shows a two kittens in colorful racecars race to the finish line after every answer. If an answer is correct the kitten with the blue car pulls ahead. If the answer is incorrect, the other kitten pulls forward. The player is trying to earn 3 stars. This game is great for demonstrations, learning center practice and for extra practice at home.
