2D Shapes Math Game
One of the first math skills very young children learn is to name 2D geometric shapes. Being able to name 2D geometric shapes is a precursor to geometry in middle grades as well as basic math sense in primary grades. 2D math shape games is a fun way to help review these basic 2 dimensional geometric shapes. This game features rectangles, squares, circles, ovals, hearts and stars, etc. The student is requested via verbal directions to choose the correct shape out of 4 choices. When the student makes the correct choice, the colorful space dog on the following screen is able to catch the bone floating in space. If the incorrect choice is made, then a space ship will beam up the bone.
